The meeting provided a forum for learning from patient safety incidents and sharing good practice in promotion of patient safety. This is the only annual national conference on risk management in obstetrics and gynaecology. The emphasis throughout the meeting was on practical as well as theoretical concepts, and delegates had the opportunity to network with colleagues involved in safety and quality improvement.
